Product description
The expressive 2018 CEANDA St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon’s bouquet opens elegantly with perfumed wild blackberries, violets and a dusting of cardamom and anise. The entry is full and offers pencil lead, cassis and black currants. Impeccably integrated oak allows the fruit to shine on the palate while lending sinuous structure and weight. Chewy tannins and velvety texture lead way to a supple, juicy finish. CEANDA, a polished blend of our three estate vineyards, is structured to be enjoyed upon release or age gracefully for 15–20 years.
"Another St. Helena release, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Ceanda checks in as 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot and Merlot, all brought up in French oak. Black fruits, chocolaty herbs, graphite, violets, and acacia flower notes all emerge from the glass, and it hits the palate with a seamless, elegant texture, ultra-fine tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. I'd be thrilled to drink a bottle any time over the coming 20 years or more." - 95 points, Jeb Dunnuck
