Pouilly-Fuissé is the oldest and most prestigious appellation in the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy, and one whose wines can differ considerably according to their specific vineyard site. This example from tiny estate Domaine Carrette comes from a parcel of just one hectare, spanning the communes of Vergisson and Solutré. It is a classically structured Pouilly-Fuissé with subtly ripe fruits and minerals balanced by fresh acidity. New to our portfolio, this small family-owned estate, run by Nathalie and Hervé Carrette, lies in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé production area.
